Black Bear Hunts

Bait sites, strategically placed in great bear habitat and natural travel corridors, provide you with a first-rate opportunity to take that trophy of a lifetime.
Hunting will be done from treestands, offering high-percentage shots at approximately 20 yards. We take great pride in doing our very best to ensure that each and every client is in a good, productive stand.
We regularly maintain and monitor 40 bait sites to maximize our hunters'chances at taking home a trophy.

The area is famous for the many color variations to be found in the local bear population… chocolates, cinnamons, blondes, and the regular black bears.
Access to the hunting areas will be either by truck or ATV. During your hunt, a comfortable lake-side wilderness camp with hot showers will serve as your accommodations.  The in-camp chef will ensure that you are more than well-fed with quality meals for your whole trip.
The spring bear season runs from early May to mid-June.
The cost of a six-day hunt is $3000.00 U.S. funds, with a
2-bear per hunter limit.

Bookings are limited in number to ensure a high-quality hunt and the hunts are conducted during the prime time for good bear movement and quality hides. These hunts have a hunter-guide ratio of 2 to 1 (1 on 1 hunts can be pre-arranged if desired.)
These spring hunts are a great way to chase away those winter blues.  At this time of year, the weather is very comfortable, there is plenty of daylight, and the woods are awakening after a long hard winter.
This hunt also lends itself well to groups of  hunters who want to enjoy the comradeship in a very relaxed and very beautiful setting.
Come enjoy… you will leave with great friendships developed, and long lasting memories of time well spent in the great outdoors.
